AMIGA sadly passed away at her new owners' home in Arlington, Washington. She was a beautiful true black HAL GIBBY daughter. This mare had correct conformation and quiet disposition. Amiga raised four fillies and three colts for us. Her dam was a G AMIGO daughter. HAL GIBBY was US and Canadian Top Ten Halter and Western Pleasure AOTR and Canadian Reserve National Western Pleasure AOTR. Her pedigree: double NIGA, with three lines to *WITEZ II.

AMIGA is gone due to natural causes as of November 11, 2006. AMIGA spent the last seven years of her life with Joy and Jana Richwine. Even though AMIGA never had a live foal for them, Jana writes: "I want to thank you for the years you gave us with this wonderful sweet mare. AMIGA will be missed."

GLORY was "On Lease" to Finn and Dana Pedersen, to better enhance both of our breeding programs with GLORY's unique pedigree. GLORY produced two homozgous solid black fillies. GLORY's last foal was a homozygous solid black filly foaled June 12, 2006 by 28.1% *WITEZ II PRESERVATION black stallion, HA SIRIBN WITEZ. Sadly Glory passed away the next morning, SOLOANGYL WITEZ BA was raised as an orphan doing very well. This filly is owned by WITEZ BLACK ARABIANS, and has become one of our saddle horses.

LAYLA was a beautiful blue black mare with a star and connected strip. Sired by our late blue black NIGA son, EL NIGADIN.  LAYLA was the last of his total of 79 foals. Out of a pretty black NIGA granddaughter, LADY BRIQUETTE, with lineage to FERNEYN and BAMBY.  We were looking forward to using her for one of our treasured brood mares, but unforseen circumstances befall some of our best horses.  She will be missed.

DAMA spent the first eight years of her life with her breeder, Barbara Lanham in NM; then the next eleven years with Witez Black Arabians and the last year of her life in the warmer climate of WA. Much loved by her new owner Dana Pedersen, her last foal was a black filly foaled April 29, 2004, DMARA WITEZ BA by AN OPUS ECLIPSE, our Pure Polish Black stallion. DAMA passed away peaceably in her sleep March 2, 2005. Sadly, DAMA was in foal by HA SIRIBIN WITEZ for June 2005, this foal was to be returned to Witez Black Arabians.
