DERBY is out of JJS PAINTED JULIET, a Black/Tovero J-J’S PAINTED APACHE daughter out of J-J’S PAINTED BELL, a full sister to Raven of Bird Haven’s dam, J-J's Fashion Flirt. By our Black Homozygous Tobiano PtHA/ASPC Classic Foundation Shetland Stallion, HPS PANDA BEAR.

DERBY likely carries these pinto genes including tobiano, frame overo, splash and sabino. He’d be very handy, when breeding solid mares for more chances to pass on these genes.

PtHA Registered filly with the conformation and nice pinto color pattern to excel as a show pony in the Pinto halter classes. Personality to make a performance pony, as well. Straight legs and very nice conformation. Excellent temperament. Extremely friendly! LASSIE has a lot of carriage and movement. Lassie will mature to around 52 inches tall. LASSIE is 1/2 Shetland, 7/16 Arabian and 1/16 American Saddlebred. LASSIE could also be registered as a National Show Pony. With the right training, this pretty filly could have a lot of potential under harness or saddle. LASSIE could make someone a fancy driving pony.
