JANUARY:
PAWS JURNEE GIRL, a 15.1 hand 2008 black tobiano Paint mare. Went to a new home in NW ND. Tammy loves JURNEE!! Figured we’d better sell a horse, in case we had to bring one home from the deal that went bad. And it’s good we did because, we had to bring MAGGIE home in May!
MAY:
PANDA DERBY DAY was foaled May 5th, 2012. DERBY, is a black tovero medicine hat colt. PtHA/ASPC Foundation Classic Shetland. We named him DERBY, because he was foaled wearing a hat for the day of the Kentucky Derby! DERBY is out of J-J'S PAINTED JULIET, a Black/Tovero J-J’S PAINTED APACHE daughter out of J-J’S PAINTED BELL, a full sister to RAVEN OF BIRD HAVEN's, J-J's FASHION FLIRT. By our Very Fancy Homozygous Black-Tobiano PtHA/ASPC Foundation Classic Shetland Stallion, HPS PANDA BEAR. DERBY likely carries these pinto genes including tobiano, frame overo, splash and sabino. Very handy, when breeding solid mares for more chances to pass on these genes. DERBY went to his new home in Williston, ND the beginning of August.
MKK SASSIE LIL LASSIE, 2008 1/2 Shetland, 7/16 Arabian and 1/16 American Saddlebred PtHA registered mare. Went to a new home in Western ND. They purchased LASSIE for their 5 year old daughter's birthday gift. They also have older children. They will be able to ride LASSIE for a very long time. Even smaller adults can ride her. Excellent temperament. Extremely friendly! A very beautiful pony! LASSIE is 13 hands.
Got this message about LASSIE: "Lassie is great! She was wonderful the moment she got off the trailer. We put a saddle and bridal on her right away and led her around. My brother Cole even took her for a short ride. My daughter absolutely loves her! She is constantly running over to the corral to pet her and give her small handfuls of grass."

Bred CARISMA, our PtHA/ASPC Foundation Classic black tobiano Shetland mare and SILVER, our Black silver dapple frame overo PtHA/ASPC Foundation Classic Shetland Mare. To our Very Fancy Homozygous Black-Tobiano PtHA/ASPC Foundation Classic Shetland Stallion, HPS PANDA BEAR. All are WINK'S SHOWDEO KID bloodlines.
CARISMA is due April 29, 2013 & SILVER is due May 1, 2013.
AUGUST:
Purchased Lyle’s new riding mare: PR ENGLISH TOFFEE. TOFFEE is a 14.1 1/2 hand 2006 Buckskin mare with a blaze and left rear sock.
Sire: KHOURS KASPER AHR 0567076, chestnut Arabian.
Dam: PR FRENCH VANILLA ACH 2001-TC-385, cremello 5/8 Arabian.
Lyle always said he wanted a smaller half Arabian to ride. TOFFEE is 13/16 Arabian breeding. TOFFEE did great at the Bar X Ranch, on her first trail rides the end of September!! She gets along so well with the other three mares in their pasture.
DECEMBER:
Purchased KAHLE’S BEST KEEP SECRET, 2000 PtHA/ASPC Foundation Classic black tobiano Shetland mare. SECRET is a very pretty minimal black pinto. She’s refined with allot of action. She loves to trot! We now have another J-J'S PAINTED APACHE granddaughter!!
When we started out breeding Arabians, we purchased our first Purebred Arabian from Karla’s father in 1976. Now 36 years later purchased a PtHA/ASPC Foundation Classic Shetland pony from Karla. We now have eight PtHA/ASPC Foundation Classic Shetland ponies!!
